ACE Cash Express expands to South Austin
ACE Cash Express, the largest check cashing store in the U.S., with over 1,718 company-owned or franchised stores, represented by NAI Austin retail specialists Ryan Coleman and Leo Morales, has signed a lease for 1,600 square-feet of retail space in the Century South Plaza shopping center, located at 801 W. William Cannon. This new location is ACE Cash Express’ southern-most expansion so far in the Austin MSA.
ACE Cash Express, a member of Financial Service Centers of America (FISCA), provides financial services including check cashing, bill pay and short-term consumer loans; and it has over 38 million customers.

Lakeway Town Center leasing to new tenants
NAI Austin’s Retail Specialists Leo Morales and Sherry Sanchez negotiated the lease of 2,900 square feet in the Lakeway Town Center to Seanlee and Paul Chan. Located at 2121 Lohmans Crossing Road, Suite 500, the Chans plan to use the space for a Vietnamese and Thai restaurant.
Phase II of Lakeway Town Center is still leasing space to tenants. The 31,000 square foot center is ideal for retailers and restaurants and has various suites from which to choose. South Austin Thrives Amidst Development Boom
The South Austin area surrounding South Congress and Ben White is growing substantially as it plays host to development projects which include residential, retail and office space. Also being built is the South Central Transit Center, a new part of the Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority system, which will serve to improve the city’s public transportation, beginning in early fall.
